Content & Quality
Are the questions up-to-date with current guidelines?
Yes, we regularly review and update our questions to reflect current EAU, NICE, and BAUS guidelines.
Do questions include explanations?
Every question comes with a full, referenced explanation to help you understand the correct answer and the reasoning behind it.
Which guidelines are the questions based on?
Our questions are primarily referenced to European Association of Urology (EAU) guidelines, which are internationally recognised and widely used in urology training worldwide. A subset of questions reference UK-specific NICE guidelines or BAUS consensus statements. Where applicable questions reference multiple guidelines.
Can I use Urobank for the FEBU exam?
Yes. While Urobank was created for FRCS(Urol) Part 1, it is also relevant for the European Board of Urology (FEBU) examination. Our questions are predominantly based on EAU guidelines, which form the foundation of FEBU exam content. The Single Best Answer format matches the FEBU exam style, and all core urology topics are covered.
Is Urobank suitable for FRACS Urology or other international exams?
Absolutely. Our question bank is useful for FRACS (Australia/New Zealand) and other postgraduate urology examinations worldwide. We use primarily EAU guidelines, which are internationally recognised and therefore content is applicable to urology training globally. While some questions reference UK-specific guidance, the vast majority test fundamental urology knowledge relevant to all trainees. The SBA format is standard across most international urology board examinations.
Can I use Urobank for the American Board of Urology exam?
Urobank can be a useful supplementary resource for AUA/American Board exam preparation, particularly for core urology knowledge. Though our questions are primarily referenced to EAU and some UK guidelines, the fundamental urology principles remain the same, but specific management approaches may differ. AUA guidance is considered in some cases as we often reference multiple guidelines.
