Last Updated: 27/04/2026

Introduction

Welcome to Urobank. Urobank is an online revision resource for healthcare professionals preparing for postgraduate urology examinations, available via our website at www.urobank.co.uk and our mobile applications for Android and iOS (collectively, the 'Service'). Use of the Service is conditional on accepting these Terms and Conditions.

1. Membership and Eligibility

1.1 You must be at least 18 years of age to become a member of the Urobank service.

1.2 Your Urobank membership will continue for the duration of your subscription period until terminated or until the subscription expires. To use the Urobank service you must have internet access and a compatible device, and provide us with one or more valid payment methods.

1.3 The Urobank service and any content viewed through the service are for your personal and non-commercial use only. During your Urobank membership we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access the Urobank service and view Urobank content. Except for the foregoing, no right, title or interest shall be transferred to you.

1.4 Each account is intended for use by a single named individual. Shared, institutional, or group access requires a separate licence agreement.

2. Subscription and Payment

2.1 Subscription Period: Urobank subscriptions are offered for a fixed period of three months. The price you pay for Urobank is indicated on the website at the time of purchase.

2.2 Payment: Subscribers are required to make payments in pounds sterling. If you are paying from a non-UK pound sterling account, your card provider will calculate the exchange rate of your transaction. You may incur additional charges from your payment provider, such as foreign transaction fees.

2.3 Payment Methods: You must provide a current, valid, accepted method of payment. You authorise us to charge your payment method for the subscription fee. You remain responsible for any uncollected amounts. If a payment is not successfully settled, we may suspend your access to the service until we have successfully charged a valid payment method.

2.4 Payment Details: You undertake to us that all the details you give to us while using the website are correct, in particular that the credit or debit card you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the service.

2.5 Promotional Offers: We may from time to time offer special promotional offers, plans or discounted memberships. Offer eligibility is determined by UroPrep Limited at its sole discretion and we reserve the right to revoke an offer in the event that we determine you are not eligible. The eligibility requirements and other limitations and conditions will be disclosed when you sign up for the offer.

2.6 Web-Only Purchases: Subscriptions are purchased and managed exclusively via our website at www.urobank.co.uk. The mobile application does not offer in-app purchases, subscription upgrades, or payment processing. Users with an active subscription may sign in to the mobile application to access content. The mobile application is a companion to the web service and does not provide account creation or payment functionality.

3. Cancellation and Refunds

⚠️ Important Notice: Please read this section carefully as it explains our no-refund policy.

3.1 Refund Policy: Please note that if you wish to cancel any subscription that you have purchased after our contract comes into effect, cancellation shall be at our discretion and if accepted may be subject to a cancellation charge. You hereby agree that due to the nature of the service provided by UroPrep Limited, cancellation or refund of your subscription is not permitted once the service has started. By requesting immediate access to the Urobank service and starting to use it after purchase, you expressly consent to the immediate provision of digital content and acknowledge that you thereby lose your right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

3.2 Access After Cancellation: If cancellation is accepted, you will continue to have access to the Urobank service through the end of your three-month billing period. To the extent permitted by applicable law, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for any partial membership periods.

3.3 Account Closure: Your account will automatically close at the end of your current subscription period unless you purchase a new subscription.

4. Usage of the Service

4.1 By using the Service, whether as a registered user or non-registered user, you are indicating that you accept these Terms and Conditions and agree to abide by them.

4.2 Personal Use Only: Accounts are personal to the subscriber and for their sole and non-commercial personal use for individual revision purposes only. Passwords and other login details must not be shared with others. We have the right to take action if this requirement is not adhered to, including but not limited to immediate termination of your subscription without refund.

4.3 Prohibited Activities: If you use or attempt to use the service for purposes other than personal, individual revision, including but not limited to:

  • Copying, reproducing, or distributing questions, answers, or notes
  • Sharing your account credentials with others
  • Using the service for commercial purposes or public display
  • Attempting to tamper with, hack, modify, or otherwise compromise the security or functionality of the service
  • Using any robot, spider, scraper, or other automated means to access the service
  • Decompiling, reverse engineering, or disassembling any software or processes accessible through the service
  • Inserting any code or malicious software
  • Creating derivative works without our prior written consent
  • Modifying, repackaging, or side-loading altered versions of the mobile application
  • Using emulators, virtual devices, rooted or jailbroken devices, or hooking frameworks to bypass restrictions, extract content, or interfere with the application's intended operation
  • Extracting, copying, or exporting content stored locally by the mobile application

Your account will be terminated immediately and you will be subject to damages and other penalties, including criminal prosecution where available.

4.4 Acceptable Use: Use of offensive, discriminatory, or hateful language will not be tolerated and may lead to suspension or termination of service.

4.5 Website Availability: Whilst we will endeavour to ensure that the website availability is not interrupted, access may be restricted from time to time to allow for site maintenance or upgrades. Website availability may also be interrupted due to technical problems. We will always try to resolve these as soon as possible but we cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damages that may result from this. If the website is inaccessible for an extended period, we will extend user accounts by the amount of time the website was unavailable, if this is requested.

4.6 Device Compatibility: The Service is accessible via modern web browsers and via the Urobank mobile application on supported Android and iOS devices. Functionality may vary across devices, operating systems, browsers, and application versions. We do not guarantee compatibility with all devices or operating system versions.

4.7 Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. We can terminate your account or place your account on hold in order to protect you, UroPrep Limited, or our partners from identity theft or other fraudulent activity.

4.8 Mobile Application Use: The Urobank mobile application requires an active internet connection and a valid Urobank account with an active subscription, both of which are obtained via our website. The mobile application stores authentication credentials and cached content on your device as described in our Privacy Policy. Uninstalling the mobile application does not terminate your subscription or close your account; subscription and account management is conducted via our website.

We may release updates to the mobile application from time to time. To continue using the application, you may be required to install the latest version. We do not guarantee that older versions of the application will continue to function. Cached content viewed offline may not reflect the most current version and you should rely on the live, online version of the Service for the most up-to-date content.

4.9 App Store Terms: The Urobank mobile application is distributed via the Google Play Store (Android) and the Apple App Store (iOS). Your download, installation, and use of the mobile application is also subject to the terms and policies of the relevant store. We have no control over the availability of the application on these stores, store-side pricing tier eligibility, or any account suspensions, removals, or restrictions imposed by the stores. We may discontinue, suspend, or remove the mobile application from any app store at any time. Removal of the application from an app store does not affect the validity of your existing web subscription, and does not entitle you to a refund.

4.10 Apple App Store: The following additional terms apply if you download the iOS application from the Apple App Store:

(a) These Terms and Conditions are entered into between you and UroPrep Limited only, and not with Apple Inc. ('Apple'). UroPrep Limited, not Apple, is solely responsible for the iOS application and its content.

(b) Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support services in respect of the iOS application.

(c) In the event of any failure of the iOS application to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the iOS application; to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the iOS application.

(d) UroPrep Limited, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the iOS application or your possession or use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the application fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection or similar claims.

(e) In the event of any third-party claim that the iOS application or your use of it infringes that party's intellectual property rights, UroPrep Limited, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge of any such claim.

(f) You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a 'terrorist supporting' country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

(g) Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and Conditions, and upon your acceptance, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms and Conditions against you as a third-party beneficiary.

5. External Links

5.1 For the convenience of subscribers, the Urobank website may contain links to external sites. The inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement or approval of the site or its contents, which is independent of UroPrep Limited and over which we have no control.

5.2 As such, we can accept no responsibility for the contents or any loss or damages that may result from using these external sites. Use of any linked website is at the user's own risk.

6. Intellectual Property and Copyright

6.1 Copyright Protection: The Urobank site and all its content, including but not limited to questions, answers, explanations, text, images, design, layout, databases, and graphics, are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights.

6.2 Restrictions: The content shall not be reproduced, stored, transmitted, or distributed in any form or by any means, including but not limited to electronic, paper, mechanical, photocopying, recording, or broadcasting, nor shall the site content be shown in a public gathering.

6.3 Personal Use Only: You may only use the material available for your own personal, non-commercial use provided that it is not changed and copyright notices remain intact. UroPrep Limited retains all intellectual property rights on all material from the website.

6.4 No Derivative Works: You shall not create any derivative work or make any other adaptation without our prior written consent.

6.5 Reserved Rights: All rights not explicitly granted in these Terms and Conditions or in any written license remain reserved by UroPrep Limited.

7. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimers

7.3 Not Medical Advice: The content provided through the Service is for educational and revision purposes only and does not constitute medical advice. It should not be used for diagnosing or treating patients. Always seek the advice of qualified healthcare professionals with any questions you may have regarding patient care or medical conditions.

7.6 Service Availability: Our service may not be uninterrupted or error-free. UroPrep Limited shall not be liable to users or be deemed in breach of contract by reason of any delay or failure to perform any of its obligations in relation to the Service if this was due to any cause beyond the reasonable control of UroPrep Limited.

7.7 Limitation of Liability: UroPrep Limited shall not be liable to users of this site by reason of any representation or any implied warranty, condition, or other term, or any duty at common law, or under the express terms of the contract for any loss of profit or any direct, indirect, special, or consequential loss, damage, costs, expenses, or other claims of any kind (whether caused by the negligence of UroPrep Limited, its employees, or agents or otherwise) which arise out of or in connection with the revision questions and other information available through the Service, except as expressly provided in these conditions.

7.8 Maximum Liability: In no event shall UroPrep Limited's total liability to any user for all damages, losses, and other causes of action (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise) exceed the amount paid to UroPrep Limited by that user for their current subscription. The maximum liability for any claim from a user shall not exceed the subscription fee which has been paid for the current subscription period.

7.9 No Waiver of Rights: These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

8.1 All personal data collected by UroPrep Limited is governed by our Privacy Policy, which complies with applicable data protection legislation including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. This applies equally to use of the website and the mobile applications.

8.2 By using the Service, you consent to the use of personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

8.3 We will send you information relating to your account (such as payment confirmations, subscription notifications, and service updates) in electronic form, for example via emails to the email address provided during registration.

9. Changes to Terms and Subscription Plans

9.1 Changes to Terms: UroPrep Limited may revise these Terms and Conditions from time to time. We will notify you at least 30 days before such changes apply to you. By continuing to use the website after changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms and Conditions.

9.2 Changes to Pricing: We may change our subscription plans and the price of our service from time to time; however, any price changes will apply to new subscriptions and renewals, with reasonable notice provided to existing subscribers.

9.3 Your Version: The Terms and Conditions applicable to your subscription are those which were current and agreed to when you subscribed.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

10.1 These Terms and Conditions shall be construed and governed exclusively by the laws of England and Wales.

10.2 However, we retain the right to bring proceedings for a breach of these Terms and Conditions in any relevant country.

10.3 Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions or your use of the Urobank service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. General Provisions

11.1 Entire Agreement: These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and UroPrep Limited regarding your use of the service.

11.2 Severability: If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the validity, legality, and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

11.3 Assignment: UroPrep Limited may assign or transfer its rights and obligations under these Terms and Conditions at any time. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations without our prior written consent.

11.4 Waiver: No waiver by UroPrep Limited of any term or condition shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or condition or any other term or condition.

11.5 Contact: If you have any questions about these Terms and Conditions, please contact us at support@urobank.co.uk

12. Referral Programme

12.1 Overview. UroPrep Limited operates a refer-a-friend programme ("Referral Programme") that rewards existing subscribers who introduce new paying subscribers to the Urobank service. Participation in the Referral Programme is subject to these terms.

12.2 Eligibility. To make a referral you must hold an active, paid Urobank subscription at the time the referred individual completes their purchase. The referred individual must be a genuinely new user who has not previously held a paid Urobank subscription. Both the referrer and the referred individual must be at least 18 years of age.

12.3 How It Works. During registration, a new user may enter the email address of the person who referred them. If the referred individual subsequently completes a paid subscription, both the referrer and the referred individual will each receive one additional month added to their current or new subscription period at no extra cost.

12.4 Reward Stacking. Referral rewards are cumulative — a referrer may earn multiple additional months by referring multiple new subscribers. Each successful referral adds one month to the referrer's subscription.

12.5 Restrictions. The following apply to all referrals:

  • (a) You may not refer yourself or enter your own email address as a referrer.
  • (b) Referral rewards are granted only when the referred individual completes payment for a subscription. Registration alone does not qualify.
  • (c) Referral rewards are non-transferable, have no cash value, and cannot be exchanged for money, credit, or any other benefit.
  • (d) Only one referral relationship may be recorded per new subscriber (the email entered at registration).
  • (e) The referrer's email must correspond to a registered Urobank account for the reward to be processed.

12.6 Abuse and Fraud. UroPrep Limited reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to withhold, revoke, or claw back referral rewards where it reasonably suspects abuse, fraud, or manipulation of the Referral Programme, including but not limited to the creation of duplicate or fictitious accounts, self-referral through alternative email addresses, or any activity that is inconsistent with the spirit of the programme.

12.7 Processing. Referral rewards are processed manually and may take up to 14 days to be applied to your subscription following the referred individual's completed payment. UroPrep Limited will make reasonable efforts to process rewards promptly but accepts no liability for delays.

12.8 Modification and Termination. UroPrep Limited reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Referral Programme at any time and for any reason, with or without notice. Any referral rewards earned before the date of modification or termination will be honoured. Changes to the Referral Programme do not affect any other provision of these Terms and Conditions.

12.9 Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, UroPrep Limited's liability in connection with the Referral Programme is limited to the value of the referral reward itself (one month's subscription). The Referral Programme does not create any contractual entitlement to future rewards beyond those already earned under these terms.

12.10 General. All other provisions of these Terms and Conditions apply to the Referral Programme. In the event of any conflict between this section and the remainder of the Terms and Conditions, the remainder shall prevail.
